Created in partnership with Muncie Juneteenth, this powerful exhibition turns the spotlight to our community’s youth. I Am invites children to imagine themselves in the futures they dream of—scientists, artists, leaders, caregivers, and more—and captures those visions in striking portraits. 
Each portrait is a declaration of identity and aspiration—because when children see themselves reflected in the world around them, it affirms that they belong. I Am is both a celebration of dreams and a call to action: the future of our community is already here—and it’s bold, brilliant, and full of promise.

Admission to the Muncie Children’s Museum is FREE to all guests on Saturday, April 25, from 10 am to 5 pm, thanks to our free day sponsor, 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚, in honor of Autism Awareness Month! Come explore the museum exhibits for a fun, family-friendly day at MCM!

Cost: $55 | Member Discounts Apply | Ages 13+

Discover the art of using fine glass frit to create a blooming summer garden scene featuring your favorite flowers or unleash your creativity with a completely original design. Perfect for beginners and intermediates, this class requires no glass cutting. Participants are welcome to bring their own printed images, patterns, or drawings for inspiration, or work from provided floral references.

All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Enjoy a guided meditation experience with views of an amazing sunset as you travel to the North Pole to relax under a night sky filled with stars and glimpses of the Northern Lights.

Metal returns to the Piano 5 Bar Room in Muncie. Featuring the return of Losing September and Maax, with Cocaine Culture featuring a new member and new songs, 4 Degrees debut their new singer, and Zero End bring in the thrash to break your neck to.

Experience the power of heat and glass as you explore the art of handmade bead-making in this beginner-friendly workshop. Learn the basics of torchworking as you shape and color molten glass into unique beads. This session offers a hands-on introduction to essential techniques in a fun and creative environment. All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Muncie Civic Theatre presents HELLO, DOLLY! on the Mainstage April 10-26. This Broadway hit, is bursting with humor, romance, high-energy dancing and iconic songs. A rich and cantankerous widower engages the services of Dolly Levi, professional matchmaker, to help him find a wife. Little does he know she’s got her sights set on him. Don’t let the parade pass you by, this classic musical is fun for the whole family.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
