Pollinator Party at the BSU Nature Lab 10am to 3pm @ Dr. Joe & Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse and Environmental Education Center, Ball State University 2430 W. University Avenue
What's the buzz? Could it be bees, bats, butterflies, or even birds? Find out at the Pollinator Party at the BSU Nature Lab, Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, and Christy Woods from 10-3pm! Families and visitors can learn all about pollination from experts in our community and see examples firsthand.
Plus, this year will be our first Sunflower Showdown during the Pollinator Party! Visitors are encouraged to bring in the biggest sunflower head from their garden. The largest (by diameter) sunflower heads brought in for measuring will receive a prize! A total of four prizes will be available, two for adults and two for children. Bob Ross Painting Workshop S24 E01 Grey Mountain 5pm @ Minnetrista Museum & Gardens 1200 North Minnetrista Parkway Muncie, IN 47303
Cost: $95.00 Learn Bob’s signature “wet-on-wet” technique from experienced Certified Ross Instructors and paint in the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed! Just bring yourself, and we will provide everything you need to have a wonderful time. Just like Bob said, “Let’s get crazy!”

This workshop is held in the Bob Ross Experience studio, which is only accessible by stairs. Painting workshops are open to participants ages 14 and up. Preregistration is strongly preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Fused Glass Workshop: Haunted House 6pm to 9pm @ Minnetrista Museum & Gardens 1200 North Minnetrista Parkway Muncie, IN 47303
Cost: $60.00 Using a 4"" x 6"" glass panel as your spooky canvas, you’ll design a haunting abode perfect for the Halloween season! Learn basic glass cutting techniques and explore the art of glass fusing as you craft your eerie masterpiece. Add cobwebs, ghosts, glowing windows, or whatever spooky details your imagination conjures. No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity (and maybe a little courage)!
