Sara will make our classic panini, the TBC (turkey, bacon, and cheddar) on our house made buns! We'll also be making a top shelf old fashioned for only $12! The four roses small batch select has a combination of flavors that goes great in an old fashioned! Aged 6 or 7 years and weighing in at 104 proof, this bourbon stands up in a cocktail! We'll also be making this the traditional way with a sugar cube muddled with orange peel and of course, our house made cocktail cherries soaked in cognac! Most modern bartenders use a simple syrup because it mixes better and we do that too. But with this high end bourbon and a old school panini we thought we would let you try the original way of making an old fashioned!
Here's more info on the Four Roses Small Batch Select:
For someone looking for an expertly-crafted bourbon, Four Roses Small Batch Select is a 104-proof, non-chill-filtered bourbon that provides a rich depth of flavors and a closer-to-the-barrel experience.

Laurie Lunsford is our Muncie Artists Guild's Artist of the Month for November 2023.Laurie's Artist Statement/Bio:
I love everything about the outdoors....and people. Plein air painting provides the opportunity to paint not only what is in front of me, but also how I feel about it, using all of my senses. Painting portraits provides the joy of looking into another person's face many minutes at a time. Using pastels, if they were not so messy, is my favorite medium because of their vibrant and pure color. I also like to flow with watercolors. I have taught art in elementary schools. Now that I am retired, I enjoy interacting with small groups of kids, not only through art, but poetry, games, and gardening. Since retirement, I have written and illustrated ten children's picture books. (All of them are on Amazon) "The Solar Eclipse is Coming" was just released, and is very timely in this season.Listing of works on display:

Over the last 15 years, the Radical Jewelry Makeover has prompted jewelry and metal artists to rethink and challenge their practice as a maker by asking them to consider the environmental consequences of the jewelry industry. This exhibition will highlight the personal artwork of the many artists who are helping to guide and educate both students and the community through radical jewelry maker parties, workshops, and lectures about the process of ethical metalsmithing.
RADICAL MAKERS will be on exhibition for the month of November, with an opening on November 2nd from 5-8 PM. Alongside the exhibition opening, the Ball State University Metals Guild will have a selection of handmade jewelry for sale.Vera Mae’s Bistro
