Cost: $17(adv.)/$22(door) Three of the most original instrumentalists to ever migrate out of the classical gene pool join forces to breathe new life into the time-honored piano trio tradition. Violinist Tracy Silverman, pianist Philip Aaberg and cellist Eugene Friesen are on a mission to redefine contemporary chamber music. Performing works from their new all-Bach CD, “Three Part Invention”, an album of reinterpreted versions of Bach masterpieces.

In a sequel performance, The Acting Company presents Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. The play is structured as the inverse of Hamlet; the title characters are the leads, not supporting players, and Hamlet himself has only a small part. The duo appears on stage in this play when they are off-stage in Shakespeare's play.

PigPen Theatre Co. began creating their unique brand of music, film, and theatre as freshmen at Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. Their debut indie-folk album, “Bremen”, was named #10 album of the year in The Huffington Post’s 2012 Grammy preview. Their follow up EP, “The Way I’m Running”, was premiered by American Songwriter and released on October 8th, 2013. Their sophomore album is slated for release in the summer of 2015.

Fresh from winning the Acoustic Artist of the Year award from the Blues Foundation in Memphis, Eric Bibb brings his stellar new band to the stage. Featuring multi-instrumentalist Dirk Powell (fiddle, banjo, Cajun accordion, vocals), Creole fiddler Cedric Watson and harmonica wizard Grant Dermody, this new band draws from a deep well of American roots music influences, from pre-war blues and early string band music to contemporary Americana.
