Belly Dance Workshop

Workshops will be led by Leila Gamal, an internationally known professional belly dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Admission is free, however, donations of non-perishable goods will be accepted and donated to A Better Way.
Presented as part of Ball State's annual Women's Week.

Members of the Ball State community will be selling homemade crafts such as candles, ceramics, paintings, pottery, metal and wood crafts, crocheted, sewn, knitted items, jewelry, holiday decorations, children's items, baked goods and much more.
Interested in selling your crafts? Booth rental is $30.00. Booth must be reserved in the name of a Ball State University employee, retiree or student. To reserve your spot please complete the bottom portion of the flyer and return payment to Jane Thomas, Office of Teacher Ed Services, TC205. Are you interested in having a better understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? Do you want to know how to engage PTSD-diagnosed individuals in your community? The Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center (NEI-AHEC) presents a special presentation:
Responding to PTSD - Healing Our Community.
Silouan Green is a speaker and writer on PTSD. Fueled by his own recovery from severe PTSD after a tragic jet crash while serving as a US Marine, he works tirelessly to help others find hope and purpose for their lives. Silouan is the author of books such as Who Am I? and Sycamore Hill. He also created The Ladder UPP program for learning to live with passion and purpose.
There will be a short meet and greet session at 7:00 PM prior to the presentation.
This event is for anyone who:
Is interested in better understanding PTSD and how it developsWants to learn how to engage those suffering in their communities
Wants to create an atmosphere of anti-stigma and empathy for those suffering with PTSD
