Are you interested in having a better understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? Do you want to know how to engage PTSD-diagnosed individuals in your community? The Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center (NEI-AHEC) presents a special presentation:
Responding to PTSD - Healing Our Community.
Silouan Green is a speaker and writer on PTSD. Fueled by his own recovery from severe PTSD after a tragic jet crash while serving as a US Marine, he works tirelessly to help others find hope and purpose for their lives. Silouan is the author of books such as Who Am I? and Sycamore Hill. He also created The Ladder UPP program for learning to live with passion and purpose.
There will be a short meet and greet session at 7:00 PM prior to the presentation.
This event is for anyone who:
Is interested in better understanding PTSD and how it develops
Wants to learn how to engage those suffering in their communities
Wants to create an atmosphere of anti-stigma and empathy for those suffering with PTSD
