Big Brothers Big Sisters and Crew Carwash Fundraiser

As part of its Crew for Kids fundraiser, Crew will donate 50 percent of all Works washes, a $16 value, and Ultimate washes, a $20 value, to Big Brothers Big Sisters on Saturday, July 28 at all 31 locations. Crew will also be accepting credit and cash donations at all locations and will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The 2nd annual A Midsummer Night’s Narrative Storytelling Festival will feature 8 storytelling teams that will each share local stories of unity. Actors from Muncie Civic Theatre will bring the stories to life on stage at MadJax. The festival will include a Writers Fair where writers will chat on select topics, read from their work, and sell their books. Facing Project cofounder Kelsey Timmerman’s new book WHERE AM I GIVING? will also be available at the event.

Friday
Critical Mass/Community Group Ride
A (free!) fun community group ride around Muncie (only a few miles!). The ride ends downtown for a festival kick-off party with entertainment, games and bike-themed challenges!
Saturday
Supported & Guided Tours
Tour all 65+ miles of the Cardinal Greenway, as well as other marked routes around the area. Ride support stops (SAGs) with food and drinks will be provided.
Not Interested in a long ride? How about a short guided bike tour of Muncie’s Historical sites? Or how about a “Weird Muncie” or Muncie Brewery Tour?!
The Cardinal Greenway Depot is Festival Headquarters! There will be fun for everyone, no matter what your cycling interest! Kid’s activities, food, and drinks will be available!
Kids age 12 and under are free with an Adult registration. Registration includes a t-shirt, lunch, swag bag, and 1 tour. Additional tours can be purchased for $5.

Muncie Grand Prix Criterium Race – Downtown!
Come to downtown Muncie to watch (or participate!) in an exciting and short course circuit race. Cyclists will race for money and prizes on a 0.7 mi course throughout downtown Muncie, by the new hotel and around the roundabout! This is a USA Cycling sanctioned race!- Campbell Brothers In Concert 7pm @ Canan Commons 500 S. Walnut St
African-American Sacred Steel Gospel legends the Campbell Brothers will perform in a FREE, all ages outdoor concert as part of the Muncie Three Trails Music Series. The concert will take place at Canan Commons in downtown Muncie, IN on Saturday, July 28th at 7 PM. The Freetown Village Singers from the Madame Walker Theatre in Indianapolis will open the show.
The Campbell Brothers have received widespread recognition for their work presenting African-American Sacred Steel music, with pedal-steel guitarist Chuck Campbell receiving a National Heritage Fellowship recipient for his contributions in preserving the heritage of African-American gospel music.
