  • Cardinal Greenway Bike Fest 5:30pm @ 700 E Wysor St Cardinal Greenway Depot
    Cost: Friday - no cost, Saturday - $30 registration fee for Great Greenway Tour, Sunday - no fee if not racing

    This is the new and improved Great Greenway Tour! Same great ride, with lots of added fun!

    Friday
    Critical Mass/Community Group Ride
    A (free!) fun community group ride around Muncie (only a few miles!). The ride ends downtown for a festival kick-off party with entertainment, games and bike-themed challenges!

    Saturday
    Supported & Guided Tours
    Tour all 65+ miles of the Cardinal Greenway, as well as other marked routes around the area. Ride support stops (SAGs) with food and drinks will be provided.

    Not Interested in a long ride? How about a short guided bike tour of Muncie’s Historical sites? Or how about a “Weird Muncie” or Muncie Brewery Tour?!

    The Cardinal Greenway Depot is Festival Headquarters! There will be fun for everyone, no matter what your cycling interest! Kid’s activities, food, and drinks will be available!

    Kids age 12 and under are free with an Adult registration. Registration includes a t-shirt, lunch, swag bag, and 1 tour. Additional tours can be purchased for $5.

    Muncie Grand Prix Criterium Race – Downtown!
    Come to downtown Muncie to watch (or participate!) in an exciting and short course circuit race. Cyclists will race for money and prizes on a 0.7 mi course throughout downtown Muncie, by the new hotel and around the roundabout! This is a USA Cycling sanctioned race! 


  • Tombaugh's Planet 6:30pm @ Charles W. Brown Planetarium 2000 West Riverside Avenue

    In 1930, after years of searching, a Kansas farm boy discovered Planet X. This object was later named Pluto. This program tells of Clyde Tombaugh’s remarkable achievement and the amazing discoveries made when the New Horizons space probe beamed to Earth the first close-up images of this small frozen world.Best suitable for all ages 10+Planetarium Information:·         Planetarium shows are free of charge. ·         No tickets or reservations are required, but plan to arrive early as seating is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. ·         We do our best to open doors 30 minutes before show time. ·         Shows run 45-60 minutes. ·         There is no food or drink allowed in the planetarium. ·         Children 17 years and under should be accompanied by an adult. ·         The Charles W. Brown Planetarium is located on the west end of the Cooper Science Complex, at 2000 W.
