In 1930, after years of searching, a Kansas farm boy discovered Planet X. This object was later named Pluto. This program tells of Clyde Tombaugh’s remarkable achievement and the amazing discoveries made when the New Horizons space probe beamed to Earth the first close-up images of this small frozen world.Best suitable for all ages 10+Planetarium Information:·         Planetarium shows are free of charge. ·         No tickets or reservations are required, but plan to arrive early as seating is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. ·         We do our best to open doors 30 minutes before show time. ·         Shows run 45-60 minutes. ·         There is no food or drink allowed in the planetarium. ·         Children 17 years and under should be accompanied by an adult. ·         The Charles W. Brown Planetarium is located on the west end of the Cooper Science Complex, at 2000 W.
