With a nod to the August solar eclipse excitement, this year's annual Jazz Under the Stars concert features Big Band titles that salute the skies above - like "Here Comes the Sun", "Old Devil Moon", and "Star Dust", and more. A special musical evening right here in your Muncie hometown - free admission and open to all.
The celestial notes begin at 7 pm, outdoors at the E.B. & Bertha Ball Center in Muncie. Some seating provided; lawn blankets/chairs welcome. Free parking at Delaware County fairgrounds across the street.

FREE public concert being played by two woodwind choirs from America's Hometown Band - the Central Indiana Flute Choir, and the Clarinet Connection Choir, each with a separate program of musical pieces.
Come enjoy the lovely, lively sounds of these groups, and check out the widely varied sizes of instruments that suppy the choir voice high to low. A reception follows the concert on-site.

The Big Band/Jazz musicians from AHB, led by Muncie jazz pros Will Frazier and Phil Cooley, are staging another special ‘Hometown Spotlight’ concert in Muncie for all -- Indoor Seating Public, Free Admission, and Free Parking
Spotlighted guest is Mark Buselli, featured on trumpet, who is a well-known arranger & performer in Big Band/Jazz circles. He also heads up the Jazz Studies program at BSU.
This program blends in a strong touch of Buselli's style and musical gusto, for quite the entertaining afternoon.
