We are working with Muncie-Delaware Clean & Beautiful by gathering volunteers in front of Be Here Now at 11am on Saturday, April 23. Take part in the Village Clean-Up and you will receive FREE admission to the day & night of music!

The first Freaky Tiki Friday Downtown is Friday June 3rd! Doc's is excited to bring our first special guest of the summer to Tiki - Rich Hardesty! Also The Michael Martin Band will play along with When Not If! And after all the madness all three of bands will play next door at Doc's Music Hall. 

Bradley Thomas and Friends are releasing their debut full-length record on July 5, and in celebration are performing the album live from start to finish on July 2 at Be Here Now. Also featured will be From the Rooftop and Peyton Rodeffer And The Bear Trap Wedding

Art and Life are undeniably intertwined, and never more so than in the decade that was the 1970s. While contemplation of the 1960s may conjure up images of turbulent social change, it was during the next decade that American society began to feel the impact of civil rights legislation, the women’s liberation movement, the sexual revolution, and so much more. These societal changes are reflected in the works of art celebrated in Aspects of American Painting from the 1970s. In conjunction with Aspects of American Painting from the 1970s, the Ball State University Museum of Art is transformed for kid-friendly tours and hands-on activities emphasizing the treasures and highlights in the collection from the 1970s. In conjunction with the Ball State University Art Education Club.

Calling all artists, performers, musicians, dancers, film makers and patrons of the arts. Full Circle will be hosting a public meeting about the future uses of the second floor of Doc's Music Hall. If you have ideas about what is needed in the the local arts community, please join us upstairs at 215 S. Walnut at 8pm this Wednesday.

This is an exhibition of artworks made by current faculty and staff in the Dpartment of Art at Ball State. A broad range of media will be presented. Reception: Thursday, September 1 from 4:00-6:00 pm

This exhibit will be open until September 17th. 

Charlene George has mastered the painting techniques of the Old Masters. Delight in her incredible talent to capture our Indiana landscape with both clarity and romance. This exhibit will be on display through the month of September. 

For the month of September, 111 Arts Gallery will feature the visually striking work of mixed media and tattoo artist Sean Tahtinen. 

First Thursday September is Jean McCauley, a talented local artist who paints in oils, pastels, and is also a very gifted photographer. She is a member of the Muncie Artist Guild and was a featured artist at Art and Soul by Phoebe Gallery. 

Sean Orlosky will also be showing a few of his paintings. Sean has become a resident artist at Muncie Civic. Sean is not only an artist, but also a thespian and has appeared in Civic productions through the years. 

Vera Mae's Bistro always caters these events with their delicous food and wine will be served. It is free to the public. Board members will be on hand to tell about the new Season that Civic is offering and explain the upcoming auditions for "RENT" and "Marvin's Room." Tickets will be on sale for "Steel Magnolias" and "In the Next Room or (the vibrator play), which open September 16th and September 23rd respectively.

Michael Eldon DuQuette will have an opening reception for his exhibition of mixed medium art, as well as sharing some items from his private collection. This work will be on display at The Blue Bottle through the month of September. 

Come join the Middletown Theatre Project as we present the world premiere of a brand new play exploring and celebrating life in Muncie and middle America. Using real voices from the Muncie community, this new work will be performed for the first time featuring a cast of both student and community actors as a fundraiser for Muncie Civic Theatre. Come experience the first public reading of the next piece of Muncie history!

The Macpodz will be visiting from Ann Arbor, MI and bringing their "disco bebop" sound to Muncie. Also playing are local jam band favorite When, Not If. Buy tickets at Doc's for a presale discount on the show.

All performers are welcome to come sign up and share their music as a solo act or band. Slots are 30 minutes including set up and take down. 

Come out and show off your musical skills. Sign-up starts at 9:30. No cover, and performers get a free drink!
