2:00 Piano Student Showcase, featuring ten of our fine students from all degree programs performing works of Burleigh, Chaminade, Chopin, Granados, Liszt, Khachaturian, Powell-Perry, Prokofiev, Stark, and Villa-Lobos.
5:30 Piano-Palooza, featuring piano faculty members James Helton, Ray Kilburn, Franklin Larey, Lori Rhoden, and Michael Seregow, with a special appearance by College of Fine Arts Dean, Seth Beckman. Program to include music by Bach-Kurtag, Debussy, Granados, Morel, Piazzolla, and Scriabin.*Arrive earlier to receive individual lessons with faculty (by request), tour the campus on your own, or use practice rooms.
Parking
Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. On weekdays, metered parking ($1/hr) is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free. This garage is free on weekends.

The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! is happening this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 3pm and 7pm.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.- One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure 3:30pm to 4:30pm @ Charles W. Brown Planetarium, Ball State University 2111 West Riverside Avenue
"One World, One Sky" is a brilliant program that follows Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a new friend from China. Together, they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth. They will also find shapes in the sky that will help them find the North Star. This cross-cultural adventure opens children's eyes to the sky, helping them see how people all over the world are connected.
Best suited for families and groups with pre-K through 1st grade learners, all ages are welcome.- Birth of Planet Earth 5pm to 6pm @ Charles W. Brown Planetarium, Ball State University 2111 West Riverside Avenue
How did Earth come to be a life-supporting planet? Where did our Moon come from? What does Earth’s history tell us about our chances of finding other worlds that are truly Earth-like? This show tells the twisted tale of our planet’s origins, and helps us explore the potential of other possible worlds like our own.

Travel through our universe in both space and time during this live presentation and learn about the most recent and exciting astronomy news. Hear updates about the JWST team and their findings, learn about stellar evolution and black holes, and find out how space exploration and research can help us out on Earth.

November 17 and 24 at 2:30 p.m.In pursuit of his dream of becoming a Musketeer, young d’Artagnan travels to Paris, where he befriends the legendary Three Inseperables: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. His acts of bravery earn the respect of King Louis XIII but ensnare d’Artagnan in the deadly schemes of Cardinal Richelieu and the beautiful yet depraved Milady Clarik. When the love of his life, Constance Bonacieux, is kidnapped on the eve of war, d’Artagnan must weigh his loyalties to king and country, comrades-in-arms, and the callings of his heart. Journey from Paris to London, from countryside taverns to glittering palaces, from a humble farm in Gascony to the siege of La Rochelle, in an epic tale of passion, intrigue, and adventure. “All for one, and one for all!”
This adaptation of The Three Musketeers was originally commissioned by the Illinois Shakespeare Festival (Deb Alley, Artistic Director), and premiered there in 2010.

English Made Simple: A young man and woman meet at a party, and their immediate romantic attraction is translated into comically unromantic grammar lessons as they struggle to free themselves from the banal constrictions of party talk.
Time Flies: Two lonely but sweet young mayflies meet at a pond and really hit it off. Unfortunately, Horace and May watch a nature program on this first night out and discover they have a lifespan of only one day – and their lives are half over.

Or is it that strange, glowing box with a rocket on the side?
