Get ready for a day filled with craft beer, winery, distillery, non-alcoholic beverage offerings, food, music, artisans, and makers and an atmosphere that's nothing short of magical! It’s a vibrant gathering of craft enthusiasts and brewers—both local and beyond–showcasing their finest creations and the perfect blend of flavors to tantalize your taste buds. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or just looking for a good time, this event promises something for everyone.
Magic City Sip & Savor will take place on Saturday, April 4, from 2–5 p.m., bringing together craft beverages, culinary creativity, live music, and local makers for an afternoon-long celebration of DWNTWN Muncie’s vibrant culture.
The event is 21+.
Hosted at MadJax, Sip & Savor will feature a wide selection of craft beer, wine, distilled spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and curated food offerings, alongside live performances, artist demonstrations, and interactive experiences throughout the venue.
Attendees will enjoy savory treats created by students from Ball State University’s Hospitality Innovation and Leadership program and Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, showcasing innovative flavors and culinary talent from the region’s next generation of hospitality professionals.
Additional highlights include:
Tribune Showprint Posters, offering attendees the opportunity to print their own Magic City Sip & Savor coasters
Songwriter Sessions, hosted by Lyn and Sally Fierce, featuring a variety of local musicians
Muncie Makers Market, presenting fresh homemade foods and handcrafted art for purchase
Guests will also be encouraged to explore the unique experiences within MadJax, including Mad Axe, The Aerial Annex, John Tom’s BBQ, and The Guardian Brewing Co., highlighting the creative energy housed within the venue.
Magic City Sip & Savor builds on the spirit of an event longtime attendees may remember as Magic City Brewfest, expanding its focus to include a broader range of beverages, food, music, and maker experiences while continuing to celebrate DWNTWN Muncie’s craft and creative community.

VIP Experience: $60
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for 75 guests and include access to a pre-event reception at 7 Rock Brew, located two blocks north of MadJax. VIP ticketholders will enjoy complimentary food, exclusive brew samples, a brewery tour from 12:30–1:30 p.m., and early admission to Magic City Sip & Savor.
Transportation for VIP ticketholders between 7 Rock Brew and MadJax will be provided by Alford Rods & Kustoms, eliminating the need for additional parking.

Ages: 21+ Join us as local musician, Mike Martin, takes the RoHo's stage!
Indiana native and hardcore troubadour Mike Martin has spent much of the last decade traveling in a van with his appropriately named band, The Beautiful Mess. A bona fide honky-tonk hero, there is scarcely a Lowcountry juke joint or music venue where Martin has not held court in recent years. Weaving country-rock infusions, Martin’s distinctive output embodies what Gram Parsons of The Byrds once described as “cosmic American music".
