Every Monday at Doc's is open mic night. Come out at a solo act or with a band to show your skill and meet other musicians. Some equipment provided, but bring your own just in case. 

Every Tuesday night, Be Here Now opens its stage for local performers to showcase their talent. Performers of all types are welcome to perform.

In conjunction with United to End Genocide's call for a world wide "Day of Action" - we are having an informational meeting about Sudan (East Africa). Sudan is a very poor country - and it is very troubled. Millions of people left homeless years ago during the worst of the Darfur Genocide remain stranded in refugee camps. New troubles are arising (again) at the border with (now independent) South Sudan - and half a million civillians are already homeless there as a result of ongoing conflict. We will discuss these happenings, and try to understand them better. Jay Spaulding - from Kean University - in Union NJ - is going to speak

29th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held Saturday, March 17th beginning at 6:00p.m. Line-up will begin at 4:30 pm at Muncie Central Field house parking lot. The parade will proceed south on Walnut Street to Charles St. and return via Mulberry St.

This Thursday's  special guest will be Afroman, singer of the 2001 Grammy-nominated single, "Because I got High". He will be joined by local favorites MC Sparkplug, H.O.M.E. Team, Absolute, When Not If, Junior Smalls, and The Criminals for a night of hip-hop, punk, and groove-infused jam rock. 

The NOW is very excited to once again host Bloomington's Keeping Cars... if you like some dancey synth pop rock then don't miss these guys!!! Muncie's Oh No Monsters bring the rock with some falsetto harmonies to keep you moving and the lovely Emily Myren will be lending her beautiful voice and guitar strumming to open up the night!!!

Muncie's own Corn Fed Derby Dames are playing the Terrorz of Tiny Towns from Columbus, Indiana in a public scrimmage. How is a scrimmage different from our home bouts? There's no announcers, chairs, fancy intros, or scoreboards. Just 2 teams battling it out and working hard to get ready for their next bout. This is an all ages, family-friendly event. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy some early morning roller derby!

This show will feature Indiana variety rock heroes, The Bonesetters, back to rock the stage with their acoustic/electric brass rock swing. Also gracing the stage will be Bloomington band Hotfox and Indianapolis's melodic punk trio, No Coast. 

Opening the show to kick off the new school year will be Lafayette's The Clutter and Muncie's own The Ostler

The Bashville Boys will then be laying down their brand of honky tonk folk rock.

The H.O.M.E. TEAM going on shortly after midnight and DJ ARANEA cleaning it up for the night dropping mad beats!!! 

AN ALL-AGES OUTDOOR EVENT! This event was organized to help students in need. Please participate, all we ask is a donation of one of the items listed below. All donations will go to Hearts & Hands United of Muncie (who in turn will distribute these items to students in need).
