Mother's Day at MCM

Make memories with Mom this Mother’s Day at the Muncie Children’s Museum!

Visit the Muncie Children's Museum on Sunday, May 10, from 1–5 PM and enjoy FREE admission for all moms, stepmoms, grandmas, and mother figures with paid child admission. Plus, little ones can create a special Mother’s Day craft to take home—a keepsake to cherish for years to come.

Visit the David Owsley Museum of Art from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, May 15 for a public reception featuring music, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash (only) bar. This Preview Party will kick off Art in Bloom weekend, an annual springtime celebration featuring floral creations inspired by works of art in the galleries!

(On May 16 and May 17 from 1pm to 5pm on both days, visitors can enjoy the arrangements, guided tours, music, and activities for all ages.)

There is no admission fee for this event, and weekend parking at non-metered spots on the Quad Circle is also free.

Visit DOMA to learn how to create a lovely and realistic crepe paper flower! Local artist Jeanne Zeigler will lead these 90-minute workshops with all supplies provided. The three sessions - part of Art in Bloom weekend - are free of charge but space is limited and registration is requested via links below.
