In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the art of fused glass by layering tiny pieces of glass to design a one-of-a-kind creation. Each guest will craft a 3" circular garden stake and personalize it with a precut glass flower, butterfly, or bird, along with a colorful assortment of glass frits for added detail. The result is a vibrant, handcrafted piece that reflects your creative style—perfect for brightening any garden. All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided. Preregistration is preferred. Limited walk-in seating may be available, so please call ahead.

Enjoy tea and light refreshments while joining art historian Dr. Lara Kuykendall, Director of the Ball State School of Art, for an engaging exploration of the work and legacy of lesser-known Indiana artist Constance Coleman Richardson. Drawing from her contribution to The Unforgettables by Charles C. Eldredge—a volume that brings together leading scholars to celebrate overlooked artists—Dr. Kuykendall will highlight Richardson’s place in art history and examine why rediscovering these voices matters today.
