The Songwriter Sessions

The Songwriter Sessions is a singer/songwriter showcase happening every month in conjunction with First Thursday in downtown Muncie, Indiana. The all-original showcase is hosted by members of The Fierce - Sally and Lyn Fierce, and Michelle Kinsey. This event is an intentional listening opportunity, allowing the talented artists to share the stories behind their songs and allow the listener to hear the magic of the words and music come together.

Marking the 5th production in the Jazz at Lincoln Center PRESENTS series, guest vocalists Kate Kortum and David Marino will debut arrangements of tunes from Broadway’s most beloved productions including Hamilton, Wicked, South Pacific, West Side Story, and more in a special concert event entitled World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway.

For over three decades, Jazz at Lincoln Center has been a leading advocate for jazz, culture, and arts education globally. Under the direction of Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center has brought the art form of jazz from the heart of New York City to over 446 cities in more than 40 countries.

The JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER PRESENTS touring initiative provides an affordable opportunity to present great jazz programming, featuring up-and-coming musicians who have been identified as rising stars by JALC.  The initiative also allows for expansion of the mission of JALC "to entertain, enrich and expand a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy."

The band will have you dancing in the aisles as they present the stage theatrics, showmanship, and music of arguably the greatest rock band of all time: QUEEN! This isn’t an ordinary tribute, this is a true Rock ‘N’ Roll experience!

Gary Mullen & The Works have performed for millions of people all over the world in over 20 countries, to sold out audiences in many of the same venues that Queen actually played. As of 2023, they are the most successful tribute band in France, playing in arenas to over 250,000 people within that year alone!
