Connect with your community while exploring portraiture through printmaking with local artist Aimee Maychack. Bring a black-and-white 4” x 6” photo of a single subject and learn to create a linocut print during this interactive experience! Enjoy light snacks and a cash bar. Guests will leave with at least one print and a new understanding of linocut carving and portraiture.

All materials needed to create your own art print will be provided. Pre-registration is encouraged. Limited walk-in seating may be available, so please call ahead.

Ages 8-13 are invited to join us for a fun and creative painting workshop where they'll learn Bob Ross's signature "wet-on-wet" technique! Guided by our instructor, young artists will explore the world of oil painting and create their very own beautiful masterpiece, just like the iconic painter himself. Come be part of Minnetrista’s glass heritage and craft your very own glass Jack O’ Lantern—without the mess! No glass cutting is required; simply arrange tiny glass pieces and granules to create a playful pumpkin face. Watch your design transform into a finished piece after it’s fused in the kiln.

All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided. Glass workshops are open to participants ages 13 and up.

Join us Wednesdays for a 6 week program to explore drawing materials & mediums. Be challenged through using familiar materials in new ways and new mediums you haven't had the chance to play with yet. 

Ages 9-13 will focus on quick sketches of common items in our space, fun prompts, and tips to learn the new materials. Every other week is a new drawing medium.

Ages 14-24 will focus on quick sketches of live figures and a deep dive on a still life with challenges and tips to get more out of the mediums. Each week is a new drawing medium and still life.

We look forward to drawing with you!

Students will learn how to create a classic stab-bound book from start to finish, gaining foundational skills and an appreciation for this timeless binding technique. Each participant will complete and take home their own handcrafted book—perfect for journaling, sketching, or gifting. All tools and supplies will be provided.
