Be Here Now
505 N. Dill St.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 8th, 2016
INDIE SINGER/SONGWRITER MATTHEW FRANTZ TO APPEAR AT BE HERE NOW, MUNCIE ID, JUNE 13TH (CONTACT VENUE FOR ADDRESS AND TIME).
Chicago based singer/songwriter Matthew Frantz is a maverick in the indie/anti-folk music world. Not easily pigeonholed, Frantz’s music is soulful, honest, gritty and relevant to what’s going on in the world now. Matthew Frantz released his debut album, “Odessa Days” on Ghost Note Records mid 2012 through all major music outlets. His debut album features a broad spectrum of Americana/Indie/Anti-Folk music, from the melancholy “Silver Dollar Stream” and “Docks” to the driving and dark, “London Honey Bee” and the emotionally epic “Epic Of Harvey Dylan”.
”After four years of building his repertoire of songs and getting comfortable in his new genre, Frantz is ready” CHIP CHANDLER – AMARILLO GLOBE
”Matthew Frantz’s amazing voice sells itself. You hear him and think, man, this guy’s the real deal.” KYLE DAYNE -- THE ART OF CELEBRATION

8:00pm @
Be Here Now
505 N. Dill Street
Hark, ye engorged digesters of yesterevening's Thanksgiving bounty! Gather one and all within the welcoming walls of Be Here Now to seek refuge from Black Friday and an audience with one of our state's most otherworldly crafters of lyric and melody, a simple pig (Eric "Doog" Alexander of Sir Deja Doog and Everything, Now!)!
As part of his cross-country tour, a simple pig will transport us into his world of Furry Fae, a psychedelic storytelling journey of mirth, magic, and mystery.
Opening for a simple pig will be prolific indie-folk troubadour Dave Carter (Everything, Now!) and singer-songwriter Miskwaa Bineshi.
