Golden Oldies tunes from AHB & Reminisce Band

America's Hometown Band and Reminisce Band team up again to present an evening of Golden Oldies, at Canan Commons, 500 S. Walnut St., Muncie downtown. 

Concert starts at 6:30 pm & all are invited. Bring your lawn seating, and brush up on your dance moves ahead of time.

DC-based indie rock band Broke Royals perform at Be Here Now. Featuring ex-Dreams of University guitarist Colin Cross, Broke Royals.

While they’re on their own sonically, their musical choices are very “DC.” From the get-go, their output has had all the nuance, raw emotion, accessibility and directness of their neighbors in the legendary Go-Go and Hardcore scenes.

With “Saint Luxury,” the first single off their forthcoming album of the same name, uncertainty has never sounded so sure-footed. They’ve taken their urgent, anthemic guitar rock and soulful melodies in as many directions as they’ve got songs, and their latest is another major leap forward. 

Masterworks Chorale presents its annual Valentine's concert "Postcards from Masterworks" with underwriting support from the Hamer and Phyllis Shafer Foundation. Join us for this online concert for its premiere at 5:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2021 or view anytime until 8:00 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2021. The concert will feature Masterworks Chorale soloists and small ensembles, the Mark Buselli jazz quartet, and the Delta High School choir. This is a free concert with registration required. Donations to Masterworks Chorale at www.munciemasterworks.org are encouraged. 

The Ex-Bombers TV Moms

The Ex-Bombers are a sinister psychedelic blues duo who play suspiciously resonant songs harnessing the thunder of electric 8-string bass and drums, a pair of wrecking ball voices, and a delightful kaleidoscope perspective of a world on fire. Since 2010 they have been amassing a cult following through their scintillating live shows and five electrifying vinyl releases on Cavetone Records.

TV Moms is a loud, grungy, guitar-drums, guy-guy rocknroll two-piece band. Ok, not all the songs are loud. There’s some singing in there, but not vocal gymnastics. Bummer rock is a thing? But a little more sarcastic. Riff-based guitar stuff that is really fun to play, even if you don’t play guitar that much. And Dave plays drums. He broke a stick a couple times.

They’ll be playing covers and originals throughout the evening. This is one you don’t wanna miss. Foxxy herself is apart of multiple bands. One you may know of is The Indigos who are originally based out of Muncie. She’s been a member since 2015 and still sings with them to this day. And as well as many other groups she loves to collaborate with. She is one of the most sought out female vocalists in Indiana.
