Precious Metal Clay Workshop: Halloween Pendants & Charms

Celebrate the Halloween season by creating your own copper or bronze pendant or charm using Precious Metal Clay (PMC). This unique material is made from powdered metal and binders that can be shaped just like clay before being kiln-fired into a solid metal piece. Participants will learn how to form, texture, and personalize their Halloween-inspired design before leaving it to be fired. Finished pieces will be available for pickup at the front desk the following week.
All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty or stained. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Participants may choose from provided templates or create an original design using a variety of colorful glass. Finished projects will be kiln-fired after class and available for pickup at the front desk the following week.

Safety glasses will be provided, though participants who wear prescription glasses may use those instead. Participants will learn the Secret Belgian binding method to create a one-of-a-kind hardcover book featuring beautiful exposed stitching along the spine. This unique binding technique combines durability with an eye-catching design, resulting in a handcrafted journal that's both functional and artistic.
All tools and supplies will be provided. Participants should be comfortable measuring and cutting paper with a craft blade, using an awl to puncture book board and pages, sewing with a needle and thread, and working at the pace of the class to complete their book during the workshop.
