**This is a special event that is part of a German brass quintet residency at Ball State University**
Beneficence Brass is a brass quintet that is based in Muncie, IN. The group is comprised of four undergraduate and one masters student that attend Ball State University. The instrumentation for this group is two trumpets, french horn, trombone, and tuba.
BRAWÜSSimo is similar group in personal to Beneficence Brass. This group comes to us from Würzburg, Germany. Both groups will be playing a variety of music styles!

Outdoor Concert "Masterworks in Masks: How Can We Keep from Singing?"

Masterworks Chorale Presents a free outdoor concert with seasonal and Halloween-themed music. "Masterworks in Masks: How Can We Keep from Singing?" The concert will feature vocal music for all ages including Blue Moon, Shine On Harvest Moon, Indiana Moon (barbershop quartet), Double Trouble from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and other pieces celebrating this time of year.
The concert will be presented on the front lawn of First Presbyterian Church, 1400 W University Ave in Muncie. Audience members are asked to bring their own seating. Masks and social distancing are required.
This is a free concert; donations are requested. The rain date is Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Watch the Masterworks Chorale, Inc. Facebook page for updates.
Masterworks Chorale is grateful for the support of First Presbyterian Church and the Ball State University School of Music with this concert.

Cost: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, free for students Come join Masterworks Chorale for our first concert of our 44th season of singing. We will be performing Alice Parker's cantata Melodious Accord: Concert of Praise, based on hymn tunes and texts from the shape-note tradition. We look forward to performing live for audiences again!

Concert Celebrating Pride Month

This summer, First Presbyterian Church of Muncie, Indiana is hosting a chamber music series: Peter Douglas & Friends. The first concert "Concert Celebrating PRIDE Month" will take place in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 18 at 7:00pm. Highlights of the program include LGBTQIA+ composers: Leonard Bernstein and Benjamin Britten and LGBTQIA+ performers and allies: Peter Douglas, piano; Liz Felsted, clarinet; Sunwoo Lee, piano; Maegan Pollonais, mezzo soprano; and Rory Wallace, tenor. Admission is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected at each concert to offset the costs of the chamber music series.
