This Thursday's  special guest will be Afroman, singer of the 2001 Grammy-nominated single, "Because I got High". He will be joined by local favorites MC Sparkplug, H.O.M.E. Team, Absolute, When Not If, Junior Smalls, and The Criminals for a night of hip-hop, punk, and groove-infused jam rock. 

Lounge Soundsystem is hosting a celebration for the summer solstice June 15th.

Bands included are Lounge Soundsystem, Elephant Quiz, The Mundies, The Heavy Company, Snorb!, Omnidroid, Elephants in Mud, The Flavor Junkies, Mikial Robertson, The Bashville Boys, and Fossil Generation.

11 bands for $5 bucks.

After a fantastic jazz jamset from "jamset". Founding members of Methcoast, Flaco and Muncie native 80z dad will be performing at be here now for there first Muncie performance in over a year of making music together. Great mus It will be a rip roaring awesome time for realz.

Tilford Sellers And The Wagon Burners, from Columbus, Indiana play straight-up original Honky Tonk dance tunes and Hillbilly Boogie. They play true country with a little Bakersfield Sound and Western Swing attitude thrown in for good measure. 

Go through Tilford Sellers’ swinging doors and find honky tonk so muddy you’re bound to lose your boots.  They play cheating songs that won’t make you cry, songs of lament waiting for Saturday night and songs that are slightly retro with an occasional hiccup.  Their tunes embody the spirit of dancing, drinking, love lost and love gained.  

Since the release of their first cd in 2011, they have been busy touring from Kansas City to North Carolina and Michigan to Tennessee. Their second cd, “Heartaches, Lying, and Cheating Songs” was released in February 2012 and has received great reviews.

The NOW is very excited to once again host Bloomington's Keeping Cars... if you like some dancey synth pop rock then don't miss these guys!!! Muncie's Oh No Monsters bring the rock with some falsetto harmonies to keep you moving and the lovely Emily Myren will be lending her beautiful voice and guitar strumming to open up the night!!!

It's also Flat 12 Friday so we'll have Indy's Flat 12 bierworks pints for only $3!!! Come enjoy a great local brew made with the love and goodness of brewing artistry!!!

This show will feature Indiana variety rock heroes, The Bonesetters, back to rock the stage with their acoustic/electric brass rock swing. Also gracing the stage will be Bloomington band Hotfox and Indianapolis's melodic punk trio, No Coast. 

Opening the show to kick off the new school year will be Lafayette's The Clutter and Muncie's own The Ostler

The Bashville Boys will then be laying down their brand of honky tonk folk rock.

The H.O.M.E. TEAM going on shortly after midnight and DJ ARANEA cleaning it up for the night dropping mad beats!!! 

Dress up kids, the NOW is inviting all you snot nosed punks, bookworms, 60% future dropouts, 80% never work in your field AND never pay your school loans off in your lifers out for a night of good hearted groovin' fun!!! Doesn't that sound fun? It's bad 80's prom night so we expect you to make SOME effort to dress up... slacks, ugly sweaters, suit jackets, let's do this right!

Part 1 of a three part campus wide competition between writers. 

This reading begins at 8 PM and will feature 10 readers all hoping to move forward to the final competition on December 3rd. 

Each reader will read one original work to be judged by three graduate student faculty members. Only 5 will move forward. 

So come out to support these writers as they battle for their own publicized reading next semester!
