Flu-Lapalooza is back!
Flu-Lapalooza is a one-day FREE flu shot clinic on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. at many Meridian locations across Indiana.*
As flu season approaches, we aim to keep people of all ages healthy. Flu-Lapalooza provides a way for people to be proactive with their healthcare by getting seasonal flu shots to help diminish the impact the flu may cause. Shots are FREE to those ages 6 months and older. You do not need to be a current patient of Meridian to receive a shot. The flu vaccine provided is Fluairx – this is a normal dose vaccine.
Participants can enter to win a $50 grocery gift card to be given away at each location!
Come as you are or dress up in a Halloween costume. Regardless, mark your calendar for the FREE ONE-DAY ONLY event – October 3 from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome.

Come on out for art, culture, and community in Canan Commons sponsored by the The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. Take a stroll DWNTWN on October 3 from 5-8 pm and enjoy a variety of events and activities:
- YART: Yard Sale for Art
- Live performances including the American Hometown Jazz Band and the Ball State a cappella group “Listen Closely A Cappella.”

Gordy Fine Art and Framing is proud to highlight the art of two artists, Toren Scott and Stephen M Millben II at ArtsWalk, Thursday October 3 from 5- 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served, and the public is invited to attend.Toren Scott is a ceramic artist and owns Made in Muncie Pottery in downtown Muncie. Stephen M Millben II is a digital media artist and owns Screenbroidery, a silkscreen and embroidery shop located in the Village near Ball State University.
The exhibit will remain on view through November 2, 2024.

Muncie Artists Guild will present an art show at Delaware County Historical Society in the Moore Youse home located at 122 East Washington Street. The show will feature paintings, drawings, and other artwork by local artists.MAG will also feature their Artist of the Month, Terri Best. Terri is president of the Muncie Artists Guild 2024-2026 and owner of leadership consulting business The Best Life, LLC, has always been a creative person. Crafting kept Terri busy exploring new and different media until February 2020 when she decided to attempt acrylic paints. This became her main interest and she has since painted over five hundred paintings including angels, barns, dogs, buildings, and waterfalls. Her work will be shown at Northwest Bank (E Charles), Old National Bank (S Madison), Rosebud Coffee House, Vera Mae's Bistro, and Parlour Salon.
