Join us at the National Model Aviation Museum on Wednesday, June 10, at 10 AM for another hands-on experience led by the Academy of Model Aeronautics*. Registration is limited to 60 children.
*This will either be a repeat of week 1 or a program extension, depending on whether week 1 registration fills up.
This program is part of our More to Explore in Muncie summer series, provided weekly by the Muncie Children’s Museum. Each week, we’ll explore different locations around the community to offer FREE, family-friendly activities.

Precious Metal Clay Workshop: Copper & Bronze Pendants

Turn your imagination into wearable art! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll craft a copper or brass pendant using Precious Metal Clay (PMC)—a moldable clay made of real metal particles that transform into solid metal when kiln-fired. Learn how to cut, texture, and layer your piece while working with the clay in both its wet and green (dry) stages. Finished pendants will be kiln-fired by the instructor and ready to pick up the following week.
All tools, supplies, and safety gear will be provided; please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Student Orientation Session for newly enrolled students: We'll cover everything you need to know for a great start, including Academics, Attendance, Dress Code, and our Learning Management System. We'll also give you a tour of the campus and classrooms so you know exactly where you're going, and we'll help you set up your new laptop. We try to have some fun, too!
Opened in 2014, the Ross Medical Education Center Muncie campus is located on the north side of the city, just a few minutes from I-35 and directly across from the Muncie/Delaware County Airport. The campus is conveniently situated on the North Walnut bus route for the city's transit system.- Vore Arts Fund public board meeting 7pm @ Virtual Event
The Vore Arts Fund is a local 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to financially support the art community of Muncie and whose board meetings are open to the public.
Members of the public who are interested in the VAF are welcome to join us on Zoom and observe. At the end of the meeting, the board will invite questions and comments from guests.
