1:30pm to 4:30pm @
David Owsley Museum of Art
2021 W. Riverside Avenue
Art in Bloom is an annual event and exhibition celebrating the David Owsley Museum of Art (DOMA) through innovative floral interpretations created by the region’s top floral designers.
The floral arrangements will be on view for the public May 18 and 19 during normal open hours. As always, the museum is free and open to the community!
A museum host will be available for questions beginning at 1:30pm, followed by a docent-led tour of Art in Bloom at 2:30pm.
Visitors to this special exhibition can vote for their favorite floral arrangement! This People's Choice Award will be announced on Facebook on May 21.
(See bsu.edu/doma or our May 17 event on this calendar for more information about the Friday night fundraiser.)- Stitch ‘n Bitch 5pm @ The Cup 1608 W. University Ave

We will start gathering around 5p at The Cup, 1606 West University Avenue (the café next to White Rabbit Used Books and Greeks Pizzeria, park in back). Some knit, some crochet, some weave, some spin, some embroider, some paint, some sketch, some bead, I tend to mend, we all art, and it’s all a-okay. Whoever arrives first at The Cup, please claim some tables and we’ll see y’all soon! #BYOC2
I just learned that BYOC2 = “Bring Your Own Community” + “Buy Your Own Coffee”!
