I Am: A Vision of Our Future

Created in partnership with Muncie Juneteenth, this powerful exhibition turns the spotlight to our community’s youth. I Am invites children to imagine themselves in the futures they dream of—scientists, artists, leaders, caregivers, and more—and captures those visions in striking portraits.
Each portrait is a declaration of identity and aspiration—because when children see themselves reflected in the world around them, it affirms that they belong. Enjoy tea and light refreshments while joining art historian Dr. Lara Kuykendall, Director of the Ball State School of Art, for an engaging exploration of the work and legacy of lesser-known Indiana artist Constance Coleman Richardson. Drawing from her contribution to The Unforgettables by Charles C. Eldredge—a volume that brings together leading scholars to celebrate overlooked artists—Dr. Kuykendall will highlight Richardson’s place in art history and examine why rediscovering these voices matters today.
Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.

Cost: Free Student Orientation Session for newly enrolled students: We'll cover everything you need to know for a great start, including Academics, Attendance, Dress Code, and our Learning Management System. We'll also give you a tour of the campus and classrooms so you know exactly where you're going, and we'll help you set up your new laptop. We try to have some fun, too!
Opened in 2014, the Ross Medical Education Center Muncie campus is located on the north side of the city, just a few minutes from I-35 and directly across from the Muncie/Delaware County Airport. The campus is conveniently situated on the North Walnut bus route for the city's transit system.
Bob Ross Painting Workshop

Instructor: Joseph Durham, CRI®, CRFI®Learn Bob’s signature “wet-on-wet” technique from an experienced Certified Ross Instructor® and paint in the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed! Just bring yourself, and we will provide everything you need to have a wonderful time. Just like Bob said, “Let’s get crazy!”
This workshop is held in the Bob Ross Experience studio, which is only accessible by stairs. Painting workshops are open to participants ages 14 and up. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.
Please note: Admission to the Bob Ross Experience exhibition is not included with workshop registration. All attendees must be registered to participate. Contact our front desk at 765.282.4848 for more information.

The Vore Arts Fund is a local 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to financially support the art community of Muncie and whose board meetings are open to the public.
Members of the public who are interested in the VAF are welcome to join us on Zoom and observe. At the end of the meeting, the board will invite questions and comments from guests.
