Tech 101 is a free workshop taught by Professor Randy Glaze, a Purdue instructor who is currently teaching dual credit engineering courses at Muncie Central High School. This workshop is designed for high school students or adults who are looking for an opportunity to develop their skills in design, 3d printing, and coding. Participants will learn techniques in 3d design and printing on Autodesk Inventor as well as programming using a FANUC robotic arm. Tech 101 is a partnership between Purdue University and the Muncie Technology and Engineering Network that is working to extend the technology instruction from the high school classroom into the community. The workshop will be held in Professor Glaze's Dual Credit classroom at Muncie Central High School. This will be a wonderful time for high school students who are interested in receiving STEM dual credit to explore Purdue and Ivy Tech credit opportunities.
