In celebration of Black History Month, the National Model Aviation Museum proudly presents the second annual Black Wings: A Celebration of African American Aviators. This FREE event will feature members of OBAP - Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals who will be sharing their experiences in the aviation industry. Returning panelists include Captain Albert Glenn (OBAP) and John Graham (FedEx), and joining them will be A.C. Glenn (F3A Team USA). Additional panelists may be announced in the future.

This year’s event will be enhanced by the addition of a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service – for the month of February, the National Model Aviation Museum will have Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight on display in the Claude McCullough Education Facility. Admission to this special exhibit will be included in regular admission to the Museum. This exhibit was made possible by a generous contribution from the MetLife Foundation.

This event is presented in partnership with the YWCA of Muncie and the Muncie Chapter of the Indiana Black Expo, Inc.
