Weekend Paperweight Workshop
Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
and
Sunday, April 17 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Registration is now open for the Weekend Paperweight Workshop that will be held April 16 and 17, 2016. In this two day workshop, at the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass, you will learn how to create your own paperweights in hot glass. Saturday's
class will be a full day (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) in the hot shop where instructors will guide you in proper safety and demonstrate various techniques. You will then form molten glass with a variety of colors into your own paperweight. Sunday's workshop will cover
basic grinding and polishing of glass to help you finish your paperweight and will run from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Cost for this two day workshop is $135.
Must be at least 18 years old. No glass experience required.
