The Muncie Arts and Culture Council (MACC) is dedicated to establishing Muncie's identity as a center for cultural offerings.  We are building a network for artists and cultural institutions and advocating for the arts as an economic development engine for our region. MACC incorporated in 2011 and is currently preparing a strategic plan.

Group Discussions are being conducted to learn as much as possible about Muncie's arts and cultural community; the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for enhancement and the appropriate role MACC might undertake to identify needs and help build upon existing strengths.

Your perspective is a very important.

If you are unable to participate, we invite you to send comments to Jackie Johnston, Muncie Arts & Culture Council Executive Director, Jackie@munciearts.org

All discussions will be led by Elaine Fisher, Special Projects Director Emerita of Ball State’s Building Better Communities. Funding for MACC’s strategic planning process is underwritten by the Indiana Arts Commission.
