The Artist Within
"A Little Mojo" and "Search for Life"- 313 S Walnut

"Mo jo" is our way of saying we are featuring "more Joe Flynn".  Joe has been painting up a storm since his last show at the Artist Within and has been involved with the "Walking Man Project" in Anderson.

"Search for Life" is in the upper level gallery, featuring work by Jerry Hannah.  Jerry is a 47 year old artist who just recently graduated from Ball State with a BFA in drawing. His work has been inspired by his longtime interest in astronomy and by Robert Crotty, an artist who took his own interest in astronomy and incorporated it into his artwork.

Gallery 308
8th Annual Members' Exhibition - 308 E Main

The members' show is mounted every summer as an opportunity for gallery members to show off their artistic talents and to raise funds for future gallery activities.

Gordy Fine Art & Framing Co.
Potters Exhibit - 224 E Main

Nine contemporary artisans will be filling the gallery with their latest pottery work. Also on display will be several pieces from the Muncie Pottery legacy, courtesy of historian Mark Eckelman.

On First Thursday, Genny Gordy will be giving a talk at 6:15pm on Muncie Pottery - the name of both the company and the stunning pieces - vases, pottery and lamps - created there in the 1920s and 30s. This event will be a celebration of an historic pottery scene, right here on the banks of the White River.
