Orchestra Indiana's "All America 250" concert
Celebrate America's 250 with Orchestra Indiana's all-American music concert. Copland’s loud and proud Fanfare for the Common Man opens the program, followed by the serene Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. Muncie pianist Dr. James Helton performs Gershwin's jazz-influenced Rhapsody in Blue, then Florence Price's First Symphony showcases her distinct American style.
