Join us for the July edition of the Muncie Artist Spotlight, featuring local artist Amren Klingaman, a Ball State University School of Art alum and oil painter working from her home studio. Amren’s work includes both oil paintings and graphite drawings that explore the relationship between natural elements and personal autonomy.  The event will be held on Thursday, July 2, from 5-7pm in the lobby of the Muncie Civic Theatre. Visitors are invited to view Amren’s artwork, learn more about her creative process, and celebrate the vibrant local arts community during First Thursday.

The Songwriter Sessions at Elm Street Brewing

The Songwriter Sessions is a monthly event where local and regional songwriters share the art of original music and the stories behind the songs. The event is held in conjunction with Muncie's First Thursday. It runs from 8-10pm at Elm Street Brewing Co, 519 North Elm Street after the main First Thursday events, as an after party where you can unwind and listen to awesome live music performed by the creators.
