DWNTWN Wonder Hunt is Here for the Holidays with $100 Prize Giveaways
Here’s your chance to win $100 during the holiday season! New this year, DWNTWN Wonder Hunt is featuring Mousecapades: Tiny Tails & Holiday Trail—a festive downtown adventure perfect for families, friends, and holiday explorers of all ages.

Meet Chester the Cheese Mouse, Murray the Firefighter Mouse, Chef Enzo Mouse, and their furry friends, who are hiding out in 50 DWNTWN Muncie storefront windows. Each adorable mouse window decal is waiting to be discovered. Find at least 35 and you could win $100!

Wonder Hunt brings whimsical mice to life right on your phone. A QR code located on each mouse window decal can be scanned to play a unique animation and sound experience created in collaboration with the IDIA Lab at Ball State University, making your hunt even more magical and interactive.

The Wonder Hunt runs November 28 through January 5. To get started, grab your Mouse Tracker at downtownmuncie.org/wonder or stop by the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership office at 120 W Charles Street. Find at least 35 mice and return your completed Mouse Tracker to be entered to win one of five $100 cash prizes (one entry per person).

While you’re exploring, be sure to take in the creativity of the DWNTWN Holiday Trail window decorating contest and cast a vote for your favorite storefront display on the DWNTWN Muncie Facebook page from December 4 through January 1. Each display adds to the festive atmosphere, making DWNTWN Muncie sparkle with holiday spirit. The winning window will earn a digital screen logo loop for their business at 2026 MDDP signature events—a $1,500 value!

“It’s festive, fun, and full of surprises,” said Cheryl Crowder, event organizer. “Bring your family and friends and experience the wonder of DWNTWN during the holidays while supporting local businesses.”
