10 past events with the raffle tag

Muncie, IN - Before this year’s East Central Indiana Multiple Sclerosis Walk on Saturday, April 16, 2011, the Artist Within shop in Downtown Muncie will host the first-ever Team Artist Within Fundraising Event on Saturday, April 2, 2011, 7–10 p.m.  The goal for the event is to raise awareness, raise funds to support critical research, and to create a unified Artist Within MS team to work together to paint a world free of MS.

Team Artist Within’s Fundraising Event promises to be an evening full of moving – movement toward a world free of Multiple Sclerosis. There will be a targeted raffle, silent auction, photobooth, cash bar, featuring performance from the band “Brave at Sea,” and motivating words from speaker Christine Degliumberto with the Indiana State MS Society. 

Artist Within owner Robert Hartley had the vision of putting together a Team Artist Within after participating in one of the 600 nationwide walks last year in Muncie.

“Last year we put together a small team at the last minute but knowing there is more potential.” Hartley said. “I want to be able to make a bigger impact with a larger and more unified team this year and hopefully in the future too.”

MS is a chronic, unpredictable neurological disease that is often disabling as it attacks the central nervous system. Since MS inhibits movement, Walk MS is an appropriate measure to fight against MS.

About the Artist Within

The Artist Within is a relaxing atmosphere to paint pottery and for families to have a great time. The studio is available for walk-in painters, or for private parties of any kind – birthday parties, pridal parties, or maybe just a fun girl’s night out!

Come see 100+ cats compete for best in show!! In addition to the conformation classes, we will have many vendors selling specialized, hard to find items for your pet, a cat costume contest each day around lunchtime, and a fundraiser raffle for the club. Adoptable cats in need of homes will be present to meet. This is an all ages event!
