The Sensational Barnes Brothers are a melting pot of the old and the new, effectively capturing the sound of Memphis during the heyday of Stax Records, the Bar-Kays, and Booker T. & the M.G.s, while also drawing modern-day gospel and soul sounds into the mix. Sybarite5 has taken audiences by storm all across the US, forever changing the perception of chamber music performance. Dubbed the “Millennial Kronos,” Sybarite5’s eclectic repertoire includes music with roots in classical, rock, jazz, hip-hop, Armenian folk, and the avant-garde. The mesmerizing Italian acoustic guitarist Luca Stricagnoli tours across the US this fall. Fans of guitar and acoustic music in general will not want to miss these shows!

Stricagnoli’s jaw dropping virtuosity includes playing up to 5 guitars at the same time. His repertoire, performed on double and triple neck guitars he himself designed, includes a blend of popular songs from contemporary rock, film scores and mind-bending originals. He has released four albums, with 100 million views on his Youtube channel.

Pruis Hall is a cozy, intimate auditorium located in the heart of Ball State University’s campus.

Third Thursdays is a monthly experimental and electronic music performance held at the Common Market. The show is hosted by local musician crawlinggiants and features a different lineup each month. We present a unique listening experience in a supportive environment for musicians who enjoy expressing themselves in unusual and creative ways. The show is presented free of cover charge and open to all ages.
