4:00pm to 12:42pm @
Cooper Physical Science Building, Ball State University
Room 160
Todd Royer, Associate Professor, School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University, will speak at 4:00 pm in room CN (Cooper Nursing) 160 on Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
"Beyond Water Quality: Embodied Energy and Global Warming Potential in Fertilizer Runoff in the Mississippi River Basin."
Dr. Royer's research focuses on aquatic biogeochemistry, particularly nitrogen, carbon, and phosphorus cycling in streams and rivers. Current projects are focused on water quality and the interdisciplinary study of microbial community structure, dissolved organic matter, and denitrification in agricultural streams.
