Did you know the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse here on campus grows bananas, coffee, vanilla and much more? Come try some with us! The event is FREE so what do you have to lose? Explore and taste the origins of various tropical foods and their uses.
Open house for Adults & Families (children ages 5+) 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Registration not required, but first come, first served.
Parking is available near Christy Woods on the Ball State University campus. No permit required on Saturdays.

- Clash of the Sciences! 12:30pm to 3pm @ Cooper Science Complex Event begins directly outside of the Charles W. Brown Planetarium, located inside of Cooper.
Join The Society of Physics Students, the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society, and the Wildlife Society for a fun day of scientific exploration at Ball State University.
These three undergraduate student organizations will present interactive science demonstrations in the topics of Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, and Zoology. The event will conclude in Ball State’s own Charles W. Brown planetarium with prizes and a planetarium show.
Who: This is a family-friendly event with content aimed at students in grades 1-8.
When: November 9th, 2019 from 12:30 to 3:00 PM.
Where: Cooper Science Complex at Ball State University. Enter through the Planetarium entrance.
Parking: There is a small parking lot on the west side of Cooper, as well as a parking garage on the corner of N McKinley Avenue and W. Ashland Avenue.
