Join the Minnetrista Horticulture team for a special volunteer day to help maintain and further our lively gardens! Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and grow in their knowledge of the garden cultivation alongside helpful professionals. Whether cleaning and preparing soil for future seeds or digging and planting, there’s always plenty of work to be done!

Trader’s Village Vendor Expo @ Former Carson’s in the Muncie Mall

- Live NFL Draft Event 2pm to 5:30pm @ Canan Commons 500 S. Walnut St
Muncie is one of the eight "Original Towns" outside of the 32 current NFL markets that will announce a draft pick via live telecast. Muncie's pick will be made during this Draft Day Tailgate event at Canan Commons on April 27th. The event will culminate in the Colts' 6th Round Pick, which will be made by Colts alumni player Bill Brooks, two Colts cheerleaders and a Verizon customer (winner of a Draft Day Prize Package). Round 6 of the draft pick is expected to begin no earlier than 3:10 p.m. and end no later than 5:20 p.m.
This event will feature a DJ, lawn games, football-themed inflatables, a meet-and-greet tent, food trucks and a photo booth. The Delaware County Historical Society will also provide an exhibit on the Muncie "Congerville" Flyers.
Coaches, players and cheerleaders from Ball State, local high schools and John Frank Football League are expected to be in attendance.- Independent Flameworking Sessions 5pm to 8pm @ Minnetrista Museum & Gardens 1200 North Minnetrista Parkway
Cost: $20; member discounts apply Minnetrista is excited to offer glassworking space and materials to those glassworkers in the community who have already attended a flameworking workshop with us in the past. As you seek to continue honing your glassworking skills, Minnetrista will provide an open environment where you can experiment creatively and learn adventurously. During these sessions, attendees may continue practicing projects and techniques previously learned in guided workshop classes.

The NY Times called it a "rambunctious and witty play....caustic, cruel, and compassionate." "This is Our Youth", Kenneth Lonergan's lacerating look at affluent youth in the 1980's, depicts two days in the lives of three people that is funny, moving, and bittersweet. This free performance is provided by Ball State Theatre students under the direction of graduating Senior Director Andrew Pigg.
