  • "A Tribute to Glass" by Terrika Clark Art Exhibition 9am to 7pm @ Cornerstone Center for the Arts Judith Barnes Memorial Gallery, Floor 2 520 E Main St. Muncie, IN 47305

    Local artist Terrika Clark challenges viewers to see more than just their reflection in her work.

    This mixed-media exhibit will be displayed in the Judith Barnes Memorial Gallery on the second floor of Cornerstone Center of the Arts.

    The opening reception will be held in conjunction with Muncie DWNTWN's First Thursday on February 4 from 5 - 8 p.m. and will remain on display until February 26

    Cornerstone Center for the Arts will be hosting the Opening Reception for "A Tribute to Glass,” an exhibit that will be held in our Judith Barnes Memorial Gallery from 5- 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 4. This gallery is located on the second floor of the Cornerstone Center for the Arts building. Local artist Terrika Clark challenges visitors to see glass differently with her work. She uses acrylic on canvas along with crushed glass to create each piece. We look forward to welcoming guests into our building, but request that visitors follow social distancing guidelines and wear masks. This event is free to the public and the gallery will remain on display until Friday, February 26 during our regular business hours. Event details are also available on Facebook.

    Gordy will be open during the First Thursday hours 5 - 8 pm featuring gifts and ideas for Valentines Day.  Silk scarves, pottery, and jewelry, are featured including some necklaces that can be personalized.  We are also highlighting our photography printing services for your treasured romantic photographs that can be framed in our new line of colorful and sexy photo frames.

    Local artist Debra Gindhart’s February First Thursday exhibit is titled Abstract Acrylic & Aerosol ADVENTURES. Eighteen gallery stretched canvases all covered in bright colors and repetitive designs and patterns. Vibrant contemporary art for the new year. Gindhart Fiberart and Green Glam Studio jewelry earrings remain BOGO! Social distancing measures will be in place and hand sanitizer and masks are required. 

    Chromatic Endeavors
    Wendy Carpenter is an artist and Tarot reader at Chromatic Endeavors. Sometimes it’s fine art, sometimes it’s fun art. It’s all at affordable prices.

    Michelle Duran
    Michelle Duran is an art historian and the works she makes and sells reflect her interest in the material and spiritual worlds: Miniature saint and tarot card candles, miniature tarot decks, and miniature ouija boards. She also crafts other items such as matchbox magnets, mandala pendants, tarot card earrings, and miniature matchbox sewing kits. She is a strong believer in the power of glitter and the good madness of art.

    I am Charlene Kehoe, I am the creator of Silver Linings. I create handmade hypoallergenic earrings and headbands. I am also a local photographer and creator of C.K Photography

    Amelia Rule
    Amelia Rule will show her work “In the Lost and Found” at the Madjax Studios, 2nd floor.

    Neal Soley
    Based in Indianapolis, The Tulip Factory is a company created by Neal Soley. This company campaigns Soley’s exploration of self expression throughout the use of different mediums. The collection of works are representative of periods throughout Soley’s exploration. Please join the artist Thursday, February 4 on the second floor of the Madjax Building. Practice social distancing and kindly wear a mask when needed, and view a collection of paintings on canvas, works on paper, and more.
