    Local artist Debra Gindhart’s January First Thursday exhibit at Madjax Muncie is titled FANCY af 2. Using techniques of assemblage art and altered found art. Vintage fashions and accessories mixed with humorous text create new vibrant contemporary art. Vintage mirrors reflecting the beautiful and comical fanciness. Debra’s “Real Babes Recycle” anthem is visible throughout this latest art installation.

    Charlie Kehoe: I am Charlie Kehoe, I am the creator of Silver Linings. I create handmade hypoallergenic earrings and headbands. I am also a local photographer and creator of C.K Photography. My FB pages are:

    Shane Leffingwell: Artist Shane Leffingwell works with alcohol ink on ceramic tile, sandblasts and paints glass, makes reclaimed art and works with other mediums. This showing will spotlight alcohol inks on  coasters/coaster sets, trivets, spoon rests, individual tiles for display, and paperweights at the Madjax Studios on the 2nd floor from 5-8PM.  He even does light switch and outlet covers!  Leffingwell’s art focuses mostly on abstract images that bring to mind a different idea to each person.  Prices range from $2 to $100.

    As the Muncie Artists Guild's Artist of the Month, Pati Spark's painting will be on display in Vera Mae’s Bistro and Gallery in Downtown Muncie.

    Sparks is a full-time artist who enjoys painting portraits, figure studies, landscapes and seascapes in oils and pastels. She considers herself blessed for her God-given talent. She started winning awards for her art at a very young age. She won her first award at seven, and received her first portrait commission in her teens. She is self-taught through studying art in national and local museums and learning by experimentation. Her paintings have won numerous awards including “Best of Show” in juried exhibits in Indiana and North Carolina. Her murals have been featured in national magazines and she has been listed in the fine arts section of the “International Who’s Who in Interior Design.”  She currently accepts commissions from throughout the United States. Locally, her work is well recognized in such venues as the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children and many private collections.
