Ball State Unified Media presents the on-campus premiere of "Unmasked: The stigma of meth." This student-produced documentary takes a deep dive into the meth epidemic in Muncie and Delaware County.
The premiere, Monday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in Pruis Hall, will feature a screening of the half-hour documentary followed by a student-led panel discussion on the growing importance of community journalism. You'll meet Brian and Rhea Graham, once meth addicts turned community advocates, whose story is featured.
The Unmasked Project, led by Ball State's Juli Metzger and Terry Heifetz and funded by the Ball Brothers Foundation, also includes a series of radio broadcasts for Indiana Public Radio, a website (www.stigmaunmasked.com) with podcasts and video, and a 40-page high-end, glossy magazine.
