Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek army, must prove to his troops that the dangerous battle they are about to undertake is the right and worthy thing to do. In order to gain their trust, he decides to make the ultimate sacrifice himself-his daughter. Charles Mee's radical modern take on Euripides' Iphigenia in Aluis unravels complicated questions surrounding wrath, power, war, and the loss of innocence.
