Join Cornerstone Center for the Arts and BSU’s Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts Lab for First Thursday on August, 7th. IDIA will host live digital music accompanied by an LED light show, featuring performances by Keith Kothman and Stephen Weigel at 6 p.m. The lab will be open between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. featuring interactive projects using Oculus Rift and Kinect.
The event is free and open to the public will take place on the third floor of Cornerstone Center for the Arts in the Grand Hall.
IDIA is an interdisciplinary media arts lab that intersects art, science and technology. IDIA designs projects in virtual reality, immersive art, games, simulation and human computer interaction and is housed on the third floor of Cornerstone.
Additionally, the Cornerstone Art Gallery, located on the 2nd floor, will be open to the public featuring the paintings of Tambra White and Wendy Carpenter in the show “Student Endeavors.” White and Carpenter are both students of Cornerstone’s Arts Program.
