- Luminaria Walk 6pm to 9pm @ E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center 400 West Minnetrista Boulevard
The E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center hosts an annual Open House as a part of Minnetrista Cultural Center's Luminaria Walk. During this 2-day event, the community can tour our beautifully decorated Ball family home, listen to musicians, and see local artisans demonstrate their craft. This is just one event that we host to preserve the Ball family history and to recognize their contributions to our community.
This year, the first floor was decorated by Ricky Allen Flueckiger with assistance from Bruce Carter and Reggie Roser. The exquisite Christmas pieces that adorn the main floor are from Ricky and Reggie's private collection. The floral designs were donated by Allisonville Nursery, Buck Creek in Bloom, Dandelions Flowers & Gifts, Flower Bin, G & M Pet and Garden Center, Lazy Daisy, and Normandy Flower Shop.
The second and third floors were decorated by volunteers from Ball State University's Center for Business and Economic Research, the Office of Community Engagement, and the E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center docents.
Volunteers from Ball State's Cardinal Corps and Student Voluntary Services, along with the Center's staff and docents, will serve as greeters each night.
