Flower Pot Fairy House Workshop

Cost: $30 Ages: Age four to fifth grade The Flower Pot Fairy House workshop is a great chance to let your child’s imagination run wild by turning a flower pot into a mythical fairy house. It will be at 1 p.m. October 1 in the Cornerstone conference room. This event is for children ages four to fifth grade and their parents. The cost is $30 a person.

Welcome to the Muncie Makers Market! :) The Market is held on Saturdays from 4-7p, June 11th through October 29th, annually, outdoors, and features fresh produce, plants, flowers, eggs, baked goods, canned goods, and a variety of arts and crafts and entertainment from local growers and makers. As we are focused on alleviating food deserts, the Muncie Makers Market will be held in the Old West End, on the corner of Jackson and Cherry Streets (in the parking lot belonging to the Friends Memorial Church), in Downtown Muncie. The Market will be curated with the plan to avoid duplication of items being sold so you'll have more things to experience!

Take a journey through our solar system and explore the remarkable diversity - and surprising might - of moons! From volcanoes and geysers to ice-covered oceans and methane rain, these natural satellites have some spectacular features, and many even exert a surprising influence on their planetary partners. Learn what these celestial bodies reveala about the history and workings of out solar system. Suitable for ages 8+
Event is free. Seats given on a first come, first serve basis. Doors open 30 minutes before show time.

Cost: $12 per person, $8 for students and children ages 10 and up Ages: 10+ If you love to dance, mark your calendars for Saturday, October 1 at 7 p.m. for the first-ever Monthly Dance Club happening at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. This monthly social dance will take place on the 1st Saturday of the month in October, November, and January, and is a new collaboration between Cornerstone and dance instructor, David Fennig, of the Harmony Dance Group.
This new event will feature an hour long lesson of dance in swing, Latin, and ballroom followed by two to three hours of open dancing. The Monthly Dance Club is a great way to get learn a new dance, meet new people, or spend an evening with friends or a loved one. No experience or partner is required.
Admission for the Monthly Dance Club is $12 per person and $8 for students and children ages 10 and up. No pre-registration is required. Proceeds from the Monthly Dance Club will benefit Cornerstone’s arts program and scholarship fund.

- Son of Scarevania Haunted House 8pm to 12:42pm @ Cornerstone Center for the Arts 520 E Main, Muncie, IN 47305
Cost: $12 at the door or $20 for both haunted houses This fall Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Scarevania Haunted House have partnered up to scare people while making a difference. The Primetrust Federal Credit Union - Son of Scarevania Haunted House presented by Lifestream Services will open at Cornerstone on Saturday, October 1.
The haunt is a one-of-a-kind maze of terror through nearly 10,000 square feet of Cornerstone’s third floor. Capitalizing on the already ominous former Masonic Lodge, Son of Scarevania will leave people of all ages feeling petrified. The haunt is designed for mature audiences and parental discretion is advised. Son of Scarevania will be open in addition to Scarevania’s current location on Granville Avenue.
The haunt will serve as a new fundraiser for Cornerstone, which provides thousands of youth and adults annually with quality arts education and special events in a historic setting.
