America's Hometown Band Entertains Ice Cream Social

Join the members of America's Hometown Band for a free outdoor concert at 1 pm during the public Ice Cream Social at the Senior Center on W 8th St in Muncie (formerly Forest Park school). Enjoy easy summertime musical listening as you take part in the Senior Center ice cream (small charge) and prize raffles, mingle with friends, and learn about activities and services available at the center.

Welcome to the Muncie Makers Market! :) The Market is held on Saturdays from 4-7p, June 11th through October 29th, annually, outdoors, and features fresh produce, plants, flowers, eggs, baked goods, canned goods, and a variety of arts and crafts and entertainment from local growers and makers. As we are focused on alleviating food deserts, the Muncie Makers Market will be held in the Old West End, on the corner of Jackson and Cherry Streets (in the parking lot belonging to the Friends Memorial Church), in Downtown Muncie. The Market will be curated with the plan to avoid duplication of items being sold so you'll have more things to experience!

Cost: $10 for adults at the door, Students $5 with ID, Kids 10 and under free The Cornfed Derby Dames (CFDD) will hold their final doubleheader of season 6 on Saturday, July 9 at Gibson's Skating Arena, 2610 S. Mock Ave. The CFDD All-Stars will take on the Naptown Roller Girls Warning Belles (Indianapolis) and the Muncie Missfits will be playing the Naptown Roller Girls Third Alarm (Indianapolis).
The last time the Dames played the Warning Belle’s was in May of 2015. This hard fought game resulted in a loss for Cornfed 122 to Naptown’s 161. The Dames are looking for a win at home to finish up season six!
Doors open for the double header at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. start time for the All-Stars game. Tickets at the door are $10 per person or $8 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets or from any Cornfed Derby Dame. College students are just $5 with an ID and children ages 10 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket (limit two children). Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are available at the concession stand. An after party will follow the game at Big Shots Pub, 700 S. Nichols St. A portion of all bout proceeds this season will benefit ForGirls ByGirls.- The Grascals in concert 7pm to 12:42pm @ Canan Commons 500 S. Walnut St
Bluegrass greats The Grascals will be performing in a FREE outdoor concert on Saturday, July 9th at Canan Commons as part of the Muncie Three Trails Music Series.
