‘Inspired by Orchids’.
A wonderful art exhibit ‘Inspired by Orchids’. Artists include local Ball State University School of Art students who utilized the greenhouse during designated class times, as well as various community artists who enjoyed the greenhouse throughout the year and during our recent Community Artists Day, ‘en plein air’.
Held at the Dr. Joe and Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, located in Christy Woods on the Ball State University campus. The new facility houses the largest collegiate collection of orchids in the USA, with 2000 orchids. There is always something in bloom throughout the year.
Hours M-F 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

- Redemption Alewerks Grand Opening + Ribbon Cutting 12pm to 9pm @ Muncie Mall Brewpub Kiosk by Macy's, in front of Finish Line 3501 N Granville Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47303
This is a new brewpub kiosk that will be opening November 18, 2017!
The kick-off for this event will begin at 12:00pm with a ribbon cutting presented by the Muncie Chamber of Commerce. There will be activities happening throughout the day. We look forward to seeing you there!
Redemption Alewerks was opened in Indianapolis December of 2014. They are a craft brewery with a scratch kitchen and their pub is family friendly.
They will have:
•4beers on tap, and will likely change those some depending on the season. •You will be ableto purchase carry out beer in growlers every day but Sunday. •They will havewraps, sandwiches, a salad and dip plate that were all inspired based onrecipes theyuse intheirIndy pub.
Wine, soft drinks and water will also be available as well as apparel and other Redemption merchandise.

In July 2015, the New Horizons spacecraft gave us our first close look at Pluto, the most famous dwarf planet in the outskirts of our Solar System. The New Horizons flyby was big news, and the pictures it sent back to Earth reveal a world far more complex than anyone realized. Follow Mike Brown and his team at CalTech as they uncover dwarf worlds whose orbits take them deep into the far reaches of the Solar System. Is there a new planet beyond these distant objects? Join us on the hunt!
