The Concert Choir is a select ensemble open to students of all disciplines by audition. The Chamber Choir is the university’s most prestigious concert choir, typically comprised of 32 singers: mostly upper-level music majors and graduate students.
Program
These ensembles will showcase virtuosic choral singing as a capstone to the year, including repertoire from diverse cultural perspectives alongside choral classics. We will reflect on the impact of the 2019 pandemic, pay musical tribute to former director of choral activities Douglas Amman, and honor our graduating seniors.

“These books came from my research on spies during the Civil War, the Underground Railroad, the involvement of Indiana soldiers in the war, and my family lineage,” said Yaney. “I have always had a fascination with people who risked their lives to promote what they believed. That certainly came about during the Civil War. To mark the opening of our newest exhibition, Bird Photographer of the Year, join us on a guided birdwatching tour around campus. During this specific walk, participants will explore the Nature Area, learning about and hopefully catching sight of the diverse bird species that inhabit and hunt in the prairies and woodlands of East Central Indiana!

Visit the David Owsley Museum of Art on May 18 and 19 for Art in Bloom, an annual springtime celebration featuring floral creations by regional designers inspired by works of art in the galleries!
From 1pm to 5pm on both days, visitors can enjoy the arrangements, docent-led tours, music, and activities for all ages. An evening reception from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, May 18, will offer jazz, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash (only) bar.
There is no admission fee for this event, and weekend parking on the Quad Circle is also free.
